Iroquois, South Dakota Ghost Tales Having moved here not long ago, I have ran across the spirit of two cats and a gentleman who I believe had lived on, or died near this land before. The black cat is always making herself felt, she will rub on your leg, or show out of the corner of your eye. The old man will sometimes, light his pipe cause you will smell matches and pipe tabacco. The other cat is orange and you dont see him much only in the summer mainly he likes it outside in the sun. Furniture jump around, noises out of the night. Several residents assert these accounts are lies, but not a hundred percent of the locals of Iroquois are still alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A woman with worms crawling out of her nostrils has now and then been distinguished smoking a pipe by the side of a deserted road       in the vicinity of Iroquois in the early morning hours before sunrise.
