There have been many occurrences with individuals from another realm. Doubters don't trust in the local ghost testimonies, but Rosebud is bursting with undeparted souls just waiting to terrify you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of an old gold digger with a large mustache and an eye patch appeared at Mission Dam at night taking in the vista. The appearance of the witness alarmed the ghost who then faded away. Loads of people who live here assert this ghost is perhaps the struggling ghost of a local person who used to live here in Rosebud. The phantom of a waitress was spotted weeping in Kimmel Park on a dark night. The ghost spoke of revenging a       murder. The ghost of an old cleaning lady has often been perceived screaming by West Branch Soldier Creek. The ghost of a youthful woman clad as a maid has purportedly been spotted on many occasions going through trash container on a Rosebud street. No matter what, this phantom undoubtedly is frightening; one that any sound person wouldn't   wish to meet. The ghost of a dispossessed man can be observed time and again in Niobrara National Scenic River outside the park headquarters flickering a lantern. People here assert that this ghost is the stressed spirit of a long departed Rosebud person who lived here. Regardless of what people utter, this is an unfriendly phantom that you shouldn't go trying to find.
