Was the Indian chief at the old post office or the new one out by the cemetery? The only ghost I knew of was south west of town, at a farm by the 19 mile marker of I-94. The farmer that once lived there shot himself in the driveway. He has been known to cause footsteps on the second floor of the house that has since burned/been torn down. He also made a     habit of hiding things (usually keys), in strange places (under cushions of the sofa). They used to say that the cemetery south of town was haunted because you could see white figures moving around at night, but we lived nearby and had a big white shepherd dog who roamed there at night.
