Bayfield, Wisconsin Ghost Tales    This is a Bed and Breakfast Inn, in Bayfield, Wisconsin. I did not see this when the photo was taken. There was no one on the veranda. But when I downloaded the photo to the computer, there it was. Clearly there is a woman standing on the veranda between the second and third pillars. She is in a dark coloured skirt, a light and long top with a bluish over wrap or coat of some kind. I think she is dated to the end of the 19th century or beginning of the 20th century. I don't know the history of this B & B. I would love to know if anyone has heard of or seen spirits in that location before. Based on what the folks who live here declare, this ghost is that of a resident who dwelled here in Bayfield in the past. The ghost of an adolescent girl can regularly be perceived speaking into the night outside the entrance to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.
