Bayfield, Wisconsin Ghost Tales    This is a Bed and Breakfast Inn, in Bayfield, Wisconsin. I did not see this when the photo was taken. There was no one on the veranda. But when I downloaded the photo to the computer, there it was. Clearly there is a woman standing on the veranda between the second and third pillars. She is in a dark coloured skirt, a light and long top with a bluish over wrap or coat of some kind. I think she is dated to the end of the 19th century or beginning of the 20th century. I don't know the history of this B & B. Phantoms are so typical here; scores of local residents don’t even think about it anymore. The phantom of a mail carrier came into view having a seat at a coffee table in a Bayfield building trying to find another ghost. When noticed the ghost came within reach of the observer who then fled. Residents here claim that this ghost may be the spirit of a local resident who died here in Bayfield in the past. Nevertheless, it in all certainty is a chilling ghost that is better not disrupted. A man's body having the head of a pig was made out sobbing outside Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.
