Submitted by Scared In the day the people who live here in Benton, Wisconsin do what they do just the same as anywhere other, but some long gone folks from days gone by have returned to this town. Many phantom stories have been reported by the folks who live here. Not everyone believes in the reports the folks who live here tell, but if you are brave enough to spend a night in Benton, you could spot a phantom for yourself. These are       some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A female with a machete sticking out of her head was noticed flickering a kerosene lamp in Blacks Creek. Many people in the   vicinity have had identical experiences with a very similar ghost. One thing is for sure, this ghost indisputably is bloodcurdling; one that you shouldn't go trying to locate. An armor from the middle ages devoid of a human being inside was witnessed in a Benton home. This ghost is enormously active in this vicinity; there have been a handful of other stories of this individual ghost. Based on what the folks who live here argue, this ghost is that of a local who lived here in Benton long ago. A semi translucent man outfitted as the captain of a boat is often observed in Hardscrabble Prairie State Natural Area on a dark night redistributing orbs about. A big bloodcurdling ghost has allegedly been distinguished on a handful of instances appearing chilling in Millbrig Hollow at night. Either way, this is a bad phantom that should be shunned.
