Between the ages of 8 and 11 a bit scared I pretended I had propitiative conversations with the ghost of a kindly old grandfather who had his domain there. Years later after talking with other ghosts in Los Angeles I concluded it was probably a real ghost. I must admit I had a Lively imagination.
