A female with her head and both legs severed is frequently noticed taking a rest on a stool in a house next to Curtiss. The ghost of a gentleman clutching a bloody axe is known to have been made out on one or two occasions in the backseat of a Honda   by the driver catching a sight of the ghost in her rear view mirror in the early morning hours. A number of of the locals allege this ghost is the ghost of a traveler that was killed while passing through Curtiss many years ago.
