My family is from Milwaukee and have a trailer in Fox Lake (Wedge's Bay). One night my 9 year old slept on the floor in my bedroom and we spotted what looked like a man's shadow staring in the window.|
I peeked out of the window to confront the guy and it was still there as I was looking out (no one was there). He was holding what looked like a tray with a beer and juice on it. Very strange. I don't know if someone died in wedge's bay or not.
person could have been a bartender. I have also been researching about shadow ghosts and dark entities. Creepy.|

I have stayed in one of the cottages on Breezy Point in Beaver Dam (off HWY 33) for extended periods of time off and on since 2006. I stayed there alone for a period of time. There were no other occupants in the other cottages except for one, and they were a few doors down. It was very isolated. I used to wake up in the middle of the night to a wet fisherman standing there. I often felt it had something to do with the bar down the road that has been closed down as long as I've been going there. This happened to me more than once.

Comment by Amanda: My great grandfather used to live on the island across from the tavern at the end of Breezy Point. My grandfather also owned one of the yellow cottages you're talking about. The last tavern owner was a very nice man of Philipino decent I believe. I think he passed away in the mid-1990s from a tragic fire accident. The yellow cottages used to be a resort where vacationers, fishermen, or hunters could rent them. There have been many fishermen drownings on Beaver Dam Lake since those cottages were built. A lot of drownings were fishermen who were not familiar with the lake. They got lost and capsized during storms or rough water, so it's very possible there is a connection with that.
Comment by Amanda: My family has lived on Beaver Dam Lake for many generations. My grandfather owned a cottage in the area I think you're referring to... small yellow cottages. In the early 90s the bar you speak of was fully operational. The man who ran it was very nice and came out to help tie your boat when you pulled into his dock. The bar owner died a few years later. I want to say he was burned badly in a fire on his property and later died of his injuries.
I don't know if there's a connection, but I can tell you I know of and heard of many fisherman who died drowning in Beaver Dam Lake over the years. The yellow cottages used to be rented years ago by vacationers from out of town. It was a resort, so it's very possible a fisherman has drowned in that area over the years and possibly rented one of those cottages. Hope this bit of info helps give you some background of the area.
