Helenville, Wisconsin Ghost Tales I was driving down North Helenville Road and drove past down a yellow farm house with red barns. The car stopped in the dead of night...the engine was smoking. I thought it wasn't anything but it turns out nothing was wrong. I though I heard a kid running around but I turned and saw this shadowy tall figure of a young teenage boy. He looked at me and then disappeared. Talk about SCARY. Submitted by Abby I was walking down N Helenville road and I passed a big brown house. I saw a woman standing in front. she was an older woman wearing a skirt and it looked like she had books in her hand. she asked me if I was running late, the bell was going to ring soon. when she asked me if I was running late, I looked at her, she wasnt totally 100% visible. she was vapor looking. Submitted by N. I was riding in the car with my sister and, the car stoped. the keys of the car wiped out of the igtion and went put the winow about 2 feet away from the car. I ran and got I then we left. Submitted by Jon N. I lived in Helenville for about       10 years, and never did see a ghost. The closest I ever came to anything weird: I was walking with my dog down the (supposedly haunted) Paradise Road on a late summer day. The corn was quite high on either side of the road. I was suddenly filled with a feeling of dread, that something very bad was watching me from within the corn field. I glanced over   at my dog. He was cowering, and the fur on his back was standing up. And that's all I can tell you about that---we got out of there very quickly. Maybe some braver folks will do some serious ghost hunting down on Paradise Road one day.
