The spirit of a young guy having on a confederate uniform is rumored to have been spotted       on numerous instances in the early morning hours chasing a passing vehicle on a murky road next to Junction City. One of the locals determinedly alleges that this phantom gets pleasure from terrifying foolish people who have the courage to upset the serenity in Junction City. The phantom of a street bum can repeatedly be observed trying to dump   a body in Bear Creek Marsh in the early morning hours. The spirit of an aged sorceress can be perceived over and over again monitoring the surroundings from the peak of Haumschild Hill in the early morning hours before sunrise. Several of the folks who live here claim this ghost may be the spirit of a local resident who passed on here in Junction City in the past. In any event, this ghost undoubtedly is frightening; one that is rather not disturbed.
