My mother went into the town of Tomah to do her monthly shopping. I had promised my younger siblings that I would take a walk in the woods with them. The woods were behind the barn. After my mother left. We headed out to our journey that would be a topic of discussion for 53 years. We walked and walked thru the     pasture. When we entered the woods the shadows of the bright sunlight was piercing through the tall tree tops. We walked and walked on the paths that the cows would take into the woods. It seemed like hours. By this time my youngest brother was hungry and tired. I was carrying him on my hip. My other brother was tired too. He decided that he was going to go back the way we had come from. My sister decided that she was going to stay with me. My brother left and said you Guys are going to get lost. We finally came to a clearing.
