These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. An armed forces uniform staggering about with no body in it emerged staring at folks in a Laona house through a peephole. The ghost acknowledged       the presence of the watcher. The ghost of a critically scorched lady was spotted beneath a tree in Nicolet National Forest pushing orbs about. When the ghost was made out it faded away into the   air. One of the local residents strongly declares that this phantom could be the spirit of a local person who passed on here in Laona a long time ago. Well, this spirit certainly is menacing; one that you shouldn't go searching for. The ghost of a guy having numbers carved into his forehead materialized flinging pebbles into Little Birch Lake at night. Being frightened by the onlookers the phantom departed into the darkness. The spirit of an engine driver was made out in a deserted spot near Laona. When witnessed the spirit came up to the eye witness who then fled. Some of the residents say this ghost is possibly the tormented ghost of a local resident who used to dwell here in Laona. A female lacking a head was spotted by CCC Pond howling at the eye witness to disappear. There are additional reports involving this ghost in the area.
