New London, Wisconsin Ghost Tales

Since moving to New London 4 years ago, and buying my first home, I hear foot steps, doors slamming and find items that fell off my walls.  Once I thought I saw a man walking through my living room wearing a red and black flannel, and wearing work boots, clomping on my hardwood floors.  This has been the only sighting so far. Been trying to research history on my home, but no luck.
