Racine, Wisconsin Ghost Tales In the middle 80's, my husband and I rented a home at 1225 Romayne Ave., Racine, WI.  Several paranormal events occurred there, including and not limited to cold living room, my engagement ring went missing in the kitchen, a demonic voice came out of the TV using my husband's name, and stated ''It was going to get him'', and a stream of water came out of the downstairs southwest bedroom wall in January, while I was reading my bible in bed.  More than 20 years later, a woman I met said she grew up in that neighborhood, and stated that everyone knew that house was haunted, and was rumored to be built on Indian burial ground. But one day when i first moved in there me and my mom saw that lights were going on and off. Soon after we noticed that my mom got pulled out of bed by her hair. I started to become scared. When i was in the basement doing laundry one day i       notice a shadow of a woman in an old fashiond dress. In one of the downstairs bedrooms you can see a man and a woman's shadow of them kissing on the wall at night. Well;; I would like to share this with you. Very few ghost sighting have been reported in Racine but one sighting sticks out above the rest.Reports of noises,shadows and figures of a young woman and man dancing in the gym. Of course none of this haas been proven but next time you go to the dekoven center look around the corner and possibly see something amazing!. Submitted by anonymous The bike trail between 4 mile and three mile a shadow in the shape of a man watches bike riders and joggers from the bushes and one time a friend of ours was standing to close to the bushes on the tracks in the same area was almost grabbed by an oily dirty hand with no body attached we all ran away. Submitted by anonymous Racine, Wisconsin is an outwardly routine area given that the sun is up in the sky, but if you are easily frightened, you'd best stay away from this area in the night time. The ghosts of this settlement don’t leave anyone unterrified.
