Richland Center, Wisconsin Ghost Tales I was sleeping one night in my mothers bedroom and my daughter was sleeping on the floor by the bed and I woke up for some reason and seen a hand reach out of the dresser drawer and touch my daughters head then my daughter started wining and I felt her head and she had a fever she had the fever for 3 days after that and now she cant sleep at night. Some of the buried will not rest in this settlement. Several folks who live here allege these tales are untrue, but not all the dwellers of Richland Center are alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A semi rotten human cadaver may be distinguished very often wandering beside a wild highway right next door to Richland Center. The phantom of a planter sporting       a straw hat has occasionally been made out relaxing on a stool in an apartment near Richland Center. Several folks allege this phantom is probably the struggling phantom of a local resident who used to live here in Richland Center. The ghost of a young-looking air force pilot is now and then spotted in the early morning hours before sunrise   pursuing a passing Dodge on a gloomy highway right next door to Richland Center. A young-looking girl wearing a blood-covered wedding gown has supposedly been spotted on a few instances on the pinnacle of Campbell Hill at midnight surveying the scenery. A female with a bottle-green face can every now and then be distinguished hurling pieces of wood down at Pier Spring at the stroke of midnight. The ghost of a mail carrier was seen stacking pebbles in Pier County Park late in the night. Several people in the neighborhood have had identical sightings with a similar ghost. It has been declared that this individual ghost is the struggling spirit of a long departed Richland Center person who lived here. A man's body having the head of a bear was distinguished around midnight leading a conducted expedition of Rockbridge to a party of ghosts. This is one of those ghosts that is witnessed very frequently around here. If you listen to the folks who live here, this spirit is that of a resident who had a house here in Richland Center in the past. Whatever folks utter, this is an antagonistic phantom that you shouldn't go seeking.
