I used to live near there. Yes I have seen the lights... Called it the Starman as kids. Typically seen early November. I saw a figure walking near the cemetery one night about 20 years ago when walking with my dog.|
My dog chased it. .. It and it's short animal like companion disappeared in sync in the field. I thought it was a road sign that my eyes were playing tricks on me. After running home (literally).. I drove back up there ...
no signs on that side of the road! I can still see it like it was yesterday. Location was about 10-20 yards from the entrance to the cemetery driveway.|

The old Hoffman or pinney hill cemetery is known for green or yellow lights mysteriously appearing, particularly in the fall. It is the historic cemetery just north of town where the five settlers were buried from the 1832 spafford creek massacre and the lights are likely a result of their unsettled business.
