Twin Lakes, Wisconsin Ghost Tales We lived in powers lake,wisconsin for a short time ..may -dec 2007. We lived in a house in a subdivision located off of 388th ave and 91st street. This house is haunted. We felt someone was chasing us up the basement stairs, in the hallways. My child saw a man that was transparent in the doorway by the bathroom. Ghosts are so standard in this town; loads of residents don’t even think about it any longer. Some residents assert there are no ghosts, but there in fact are creepy things going down here in Twin Lakes during the night time. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a steel-miner has supposedly been witnessed on a few instances staring at folks in a Twin Lakes flat through a keyhole. The ghost of a gentleman outfitted       as a gas station attendant can now and then be made out walking along a murky highway near Twin Lakes. Scores of people who live here assert this phantom might be a renowned old days dweller of Twin Lakes. No matter what, it is certainly a menacing spirit that you do not want to encounter at midnight. The ghost of a man sporting a police force   uniform has often been noticed enjoying the panorama at Kazimier Lake Dam before sunrise. The phantom of an elderly gentleman with a huge white beard is often made out startling people up on Gander Mountain. The ghost of a gentleman having on an armed forces outfit is rumored to have been distinguished on a few instances at North Branch Nippersink Creek on a dark night hurling pebbles into the flowing water. A woman with an axe sticking out of her head may repeatedly be distinguished in Chain O'Lakes State Park quite near the park headquarters looking scary. The spirit of a lady with a sack fastened around her head may be observed often staring wrathfully at the eye witness on the water's edge of Dunns Lake. A moderately transparent guy outfitted as the captain of a boat has from time to time been noticed at Jackson Bay in the early morning hours before sunrise looking down into the water. Local people allege that this spirit is the undeceased spirit of a long forgotten Twin Lakes local person. A big scary ghost has been said to have been noticed on several instances in Chain O'Lakes State Park late at night going berserk. One thing's for certain, this ghost indisputably is menacing; one that any commonsensical person wouldn't wish to run into.
