West Bend, Wisconsin Ghost Tales Regner park.  Seemingly innocent enough.  However, a wide variety of spirits inhabit this park.  Ranging from the apparitions of a little girl and her father by the playground over by the creek.  All the way to a sinister man with an umbrella who causes overwhelming feelings of panic.  The woods in Regner park are NOT paranormally safe after dark.  Full body apparitions, shadow people, and the forest itself are prone to mess with you.  Do NOT go into these woods at night. Submitted by Beth E.       Categories: park, woods A ghost of a young man who committed suicide by hanging himself in the 3rd story of the restaurant on Poplar Street (its had various owners and names over the past 10 years or so)roams the restaurant on occasion.  A former bar tender reported that as he was standing facing the bar counter one evening, all of the stemware hanging behind the bar was suddenly sheared off as if a hand had swiped the whole bunch of it. One of the chefs at this restaurant reported turning from       the stove, walking to the other side of the kitchen and turning to see an entire kettle of soup being overturned onto the stove and floor. Tha ghost also swept all the pans and cooking sheets off a shelf one evening and loosened the hinges on the kitchen doors one busy evening. When the next server went through it, it simply fell off. All the pins   were laying on the floor. At night a dim red light can be observed reflecting the shadowy figure of a janitor hanging himself. Loads of phantom stories have been conveyed by the people who live here. The spirit of a civil war soldier is repeatedly perceived throwing chunks of concrete into the current at Silver Creek very late at night. If you listen to what the local residents declare, this ghost loves startling foolish people who are fearless enough to interrupt the calm in West Bend.
