Whitewater, Wisconsin Ghost Tales - PAGE 2 I live very near Whitewater, just outside Lima Center. I and my children, have seen and heard many things that make me believe this whole area is haunted. I have only lived here a few years. During this few years, all my children and a few of my friends, and myself, have heard unseen people talking, inside and out. Myself, I was in my basement just recently, when I heard what sounded to be a man within 1-2 feet of me saying hello. I looked everywhere; there was no one anywhere. Shortly, after that within a few days, my oldest son (who does not believe in any of this), was waiting outside behind the barn where he parked his vehicle, for his friend. His friend and I were in the kitchen talking, so he never made it out. My son came in the house, pale as a ghost himself, and asked his friend if he thought he was funny. We explained to him, that his friend had never been outside. My son told us that someone had come real close to him, singing a song by Alice Cooper(school's out for the summer). My son still refuses to talk about it. A couple       of months after that, I was driving to whitewater (in broad daylight), down McCord Rd, When I looked and saw a figure crossing the road in front of me. I was probably less then 20yds. from it. It was a black figure in dress of that which an old time minister would've wore. A black hat, with a wide, round brim,and all black clothing. I saw this figure   cross the road and disappear into the trees on the property across the road. I stopped and looked as far as I could see without exiting the vehicle; it was nowhere. There are an army of incidents like these that I could go on about. The only evidence I have of any type of paranormal activities, besides word of mouth, are some pictures I took of some orb a year or two after I moved here. Submitted by anonymous       Categories: home, roadside, man, figures Last night I was walking back to my dorm with my boyfriend Zach...we were walking on the pathway when I saw I girl standing in a dress...She looked about twelve or thirteen...She was facing sideways and when we got closer the girl turned around and we could see the other side of her face was completely burned..like she was burned in a fire...As she turned the other way she slowly walked behind a tree and she never came out the other side...We ran back to the dorm and never looked back.
