Alsip, Illinois Ghost Tales    I was about to take a pic ture of my dog and this is what showed up. People tend to be infactuated with orbs. Orbs are mostly caused by dust, insects, reflections, or camera problems. A true orb will form and stick around for a while and you will see it with the naked eye then it will disipate as the energy is burned. The spirits of this settlement don’t leave anyone unalarmed. Not everybody believes in the accounts the people who live here tell, but the undeparted souls of Alsip are all too real. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A gentleman's body having the head of a rat is regularly distinguished in a mirror in an Alsip residence; the       phantom was solely visible in the mirror. The ghost of a guy carrying a sword has been distinguished on one or two occasions smoking a pipe by Stony Creek. A lady with larvae crawling out of her eye sockets may frequently be spotted in Bachelor Grove late at night climbing a towering tree. The spirit of a bound up lady can be perceived   often looking for a woman at Midlothian Creek Dam around midnight. A woman holding her head underneath her arm has once in a while been perceived on the shore of Lake Arrowhead weeping. The phantom of a guy with half his head gone has allegedly been perceived on several occasions by Midlothian Creek howling. The phantom of a young lady having on a bloody wedding dress was witnessed in Ada Park at night looking. This is one of those phantoms that is witnessed very frequently in close proximity. A beheaded lady came into view gazing over Kickapoo Meadows before sunrise. The eye witness ran away immediately after she set eyes on the phantom. The ghost of a young girl was distinguished in a mobile home near Alsip. The phantom didn't care that there was someone other present. A resident argues that this ghost could be the spirit of a local who passed on here in Alsip some time ago. In any event, it's a terrifying ghost that is better not disrupted. A person with a skeleton face having on dark robes materialized in an Alsip area clothing store, striding the aisles. When the bystander appeared the ghost fled.
