Alvin, Illinois Ghost Tales A transparent figure was seen by myself and my wife.  It was going across the road right next to Mann's Chapel Road.  Which is an old cemetary. Submitted by Padraic S. Cassidy You might think that Alvin, Illinois is precisely the same as any other settlement in the US of A, but this settlement has bloodcurdling enigmas obscured in the shadows. Things occur around here that cannot be scientifically explained. People who have never stayed overnight in this settlement will inform you it's lies, but the ghosts of Alvin are out tonight searching for someone to frighten. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a gentleman with numbers etched into his arm has regularly been perceived in Jordan Creek redistributing orbs about. In any case, it's sure a scary phantom that you would not want to run into late in the night. The ghost of an engine driver is repeatedly observed looking bloodcurdling in Christman Park around midnight. No matter what, this is       an unfriendly ghost that any sane person wouldn't want to bump into. A woman with no head has purportedly been noticed on a small number of occasions gazing at a woman sleeping on a couch in an apartment in Alvin.
