The ghost of a man having half his head missing has regularly been perceived next to Gold Spring around midnight going crazy. Folks who have distinguished this ghost allege this ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while driving through Armington in the past. A decapitated lady is repeatedly perceived in the rear seat of a Chevy by the driver seeing the phantom in his rear view mirror late in the night. A local woman says that this spirit is that of a person who existed here in Armington before the present.
