A lot of people say that Barrington, Illinois is one of the most haunted places in Illinois because of Cuba Road. I have actually experienced the phantom car, but it was a little different. I was in the car with my friend at night going to the library when we saw a car that was in a ditch on the side of the road. Everyone could see it. My friends mom got out of the car to see if they needed any help. When she got there, the radio inside was on, the lights were on, and she saw a child looking out of the window. When she stuck her head through the open window, the child was not there, but when you put your head back out you could clearly see the child. The car was black, and when we went back there again, the car was nowhere to be found, but when you went there back at night, the same exact thing happens.
Another thing I have experienced is our piano. It is 120 years old and was from France. We still have it in our house. A lot of the keys don't work but at night they are able to play. So one time I was sleeping and I woke up randomly. It was about 1:30 in the morning. I just laid there for a moment, and at that second, I could here the piano downstairs playing some Mozart song. No one in my family knows how to play that good. I am the only one that knows how to play, but I cant play Mozart songs. The picture is of the piano.

This seems a little skeptical and I haven't really heard much about this particular spot, but I was driving down Mundhank Road, which is in South Barrington, and I noticed 2 candles with 2 children's silhouettes behind them. And as their face almost came into the light, the candles went out, and there was nothing. This is weird because there is a street light near it and if there were actually people there then they should've been able to be seen by the light.

Okay, I am very skeptical and not very superstitious so I do not believe in very many things. But I now believe in spirits. And here is why.
One time I was at my friends house and we were playing this made up game called the Ghost Game where we try to spot a ghost that lives in my friends basement. So when we were building a shelter out of stuff, the TV just randomly turns on. After about 3 seconds, it then turned off. We just forgot about it because

we thought it was just some electrical fuse, but it happened again. I went to turn it off, but right after I left from turning it off it turned right back on. And on the third time it changed channels to a random soap opera that was talking about a murdered person. So we turned it off and then we turned around to see the closet and there was a red

light that was just moving around in the open closet. That was the end of that stuff.
Our second experience is when we were down in my basement and we were asking and provoking who ever was there with us to answer us. So I told them to knock twice on something, and then we heard something knock twice on something in the boiler room. We asked if the person was wearing a hat, and all of my friends, including me heard a very faint ''yes. '' Then when we were about to turn the lights on, we all heard a ''NO!'' and a slap on the ground. So we turned the light on.
Those were both very scary and true experiences that happened.

So I Dont Exactly Live Hear, But I Go To Cuba Road All The Time.... Last Fri The 13Th, I Went To The White cemetery, But Was Being Followed By This Car, So My Dad Drove Around To Loose Him, And When We Passed The cemetery, It Ws Locked, But After We Lost Him, It Was Wide Open........ So We Went Inside And I Had This Candle And

We Lit It And Were Like, Is Anyone Hear?!?!?! And The Candle Just Went Out No Wind No Nothing, So I Was Taking All These Pictures With My Digital Camera Which I Will Upload, But On The Way Out Someone Whispered In My Ear..... Be Careful, And My Friend In Front Of Me Just Randomly Fell Over, And Then In The Car I Was Watching The cemetery, And There Was This Guy In The Back Staring At A Grave, Who Was Not There A Min Ago, And Then When I Looked Back Again..(A Double Take) He Was Gone, And No Where To Be Found.
