Some of the departed won't stay underground in this city. Doubters don't believe in the local ghost testimonies, but if you have the courage to stay overnight in Bartlett, you may very well catch a glimpse of a ghost for yourself. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The spirit of a youthful man sporting a winter jacket can every so often be witnessed smoking a pipe beside a streetlamp in Bartlett. Residents here argue that this ghost is that of a local resident who had a house here in Bartlett some time ago. A beheaded guy was made out hunting with a hunting rifle in Mallard Lake County Forest Preserve after midnight. The ghost talked       about avenging a slaying. In any event, this spirit undeniably is bloodcurdling; one that should be kept away from. A woman with her head removed came into sight marching from residence to residence at midnight on a Bartlett lane. The bystander freaked out and ran away. No matter what folks say, this is an antagonistic ghost that you do not   want to come across before dawn. A military outfit striding around lacking a body in it was distinguished at the shore at Island Lake crying. The ghost did not seem to be agonized by the bystanders. One of the locals decisively says that this ghost enjoys frightening people who have the courage to disturb the peace in Bartlett. One thing is for sure, it is unquestionably a menacing ghost that any rational person would not want to encounter. The phantom of a civil war combatant appeared gazing by East Branch Poplar Creek. The ghost nodded to the bystander. A number of of the folks here allege this ghost enjoys frightening folks who come trying to locate ghosts in Bartlett. In any case, this is a bad ghost that should be steered clear of. The ghost of a gentleman having the sign of the devil carved into his foot was seen sitting at the dining table in a Bartlett building. When the ghost was witnessed it disappeared into the thin air.
