In my Parents house I awoke to a figure sitting at the foot of my bed. Then it stood up, and waked down stairs. At first I thought it was my friend, so I didn't think any thing of it. Then I walk downstairs, and theres no one in the house. Submitted by Ryan Roegge

Beardstown, Illinois appears identical to any other place in the United States, but this is a municipality where the living dead pace the roads during the night time. Tables travel around, sounds from the darkness.

The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead was noticed pulling a cadaver over the grass in Art Zeeck Park around midnight. The spirit was gobbled up by the night after being observed.
The phantom of a gentleman sporting a military outfit was witnessed ascending out from a storm drain on a Beardstown road late in the night. When perceived the spirit came within reach of the witness who then ran off. One thing's for certain, this ghost certainly is bloodcurdling; one that is rather not messed with.

her head is repeatedly spotted gazing down into the water at Muscooten Bay after midnight.
The ghost of a lady with a plastic bag bound around her head has allegedly been distinguished on one or
two instances climbing out of Boujan Swale drenched in dirty water before dawn. People argue that this ghost is most likely the undeceased ghost of a resident who used to have a home here in Beardstown.
A
moderately see-through man clothed as the skipper of a liner may be made out very frequently by Coal Creek attempting to say something. A woman who lives here declares that this ghost is the undeparted
soul of a long dead Beardstown resident.
The ghost of a young man dressed in a confederate uniform has from time to time been witnessed nosing around in mailboxes in the early morning hours before
sunrise in Beardstown.
The ghost of a hobo is from time to time observed performing a tune on a xylophone in a Beardstown home. Some of the residents claim this ghost is that of a person who settled
here in Beardstown some time ago.
The ghost of a youthful woman covered in blood has been seen on numerous occasions shuffling orbs about in Anderson Lake State Park quite near the park headquarters.

man with a large hole through his upper body can every now and then be witnessed in a mirror in a Beardstown trailer; the ghost was only observable in the mirror. In any event, this is a bad ghost that
you wouldn't want to encounter before sunrise.
A gentleman with the head of a beast has frequently been made out in a residence near Beardstown. According to the residents, this ghost likes terrifying
foolish people who come trying to locate ghosts in Beardstown. Regardless of what, it's a terrifying ghost that any sensible person wouldn't wish to bump into.
A female in flames, gripping a gas
bottle is often seen in a Beardstown area shoe store, strolling the aisles. One thing's for guaranteed, it is indisputably a creepy phantom that should be left alone.

air force pilot is rumored to have been witnessed on many instances going wild late at night by a vending machine in Beardstown. If you listen to what the folks who live here claim, this ghost may be the soul of a local person who passed on here in Beardstown some decades ago.
