Beckemeyer, Illinois seems like any other neighborhood in the States, but this is a town where the undead stagger the roads during the dark hours. Scores of phantom reports have been passed on by the folks who live here. Not everybody has faith in the accounts the folks who live here tell, but not everyone of the locals of Beckemeyer are still alive.

or two instances gazing over Santa Fe Bottoms in the early morning hours before sunrise.
A frightening skeleton can from time to time be seen creeping out of Big Swan Lake soaked in dirty water before dawn. If you listen to what the residents allege, this phantom is that of a resident who had a house here in Beckemeyer before the present.
A luminous human form has frequently been perceived dragging a body from the ice cold water of Beaver Creek very late at night.
