Braidwood, Illinois Ghost Tales    My aunt, cousin and I went to the braidwood cemetary. When we were flashing the camera we saw a figure standing. When it reached 11:00pm we heard footsteps and nobody was there. Ghost picture submitted by Olivia I own a shop on Rt 66 In Braidwood, Il. This was once an old house then a doctors office and now my shop. We have exerienced many unexplained things such as doors locking or not being able to unlock doors. A concrete bunny falling of a set of steps for no reason and not being damaged. An older man has been seen down the Left Hall of the building. We find pennies in that hall often. Things getting unpluged and plugged in. Noises and things falling out of the blue. A very strong feeling of loneliness when I go to leave and always open the door to say see you tomorrow. there have been people here that say they get strong feelings of some kind. I have been told I have 2 spirts here one that is an older man on the left of the building. the other a young boy running havoc through the store. Could be the reason for all the banging. I really don't know much about the history of this build but will have to find out. Night hour is undead time around here. Some local residents declare there are no ghosts, but if you dare to stay an extra day in Braidwood, you may observe a ghost for yourself. A lady with worms crawling   out of her eyes is sometimes spotted pondering in Braidwood Dunes And Savanna Nature Preserve before dawn. The ghost of a tied up female has supposedly been observed on many instances terrifying folks by a desolate highway in the neighborhood of Braidwood before dawn. Based on what the people who live here claim, this ghost could be a celebrated days gone by inhabitant of Braidwood.
