A lady gripping her head under her arm may be made out over and over again clutching a cranium on the shore of Lake Arispie. The ghost of a guy with half his head lost has from time to time been perceived taking in the vista at Beaver Glenn Lake Dam late in the night. Residents argue that this phantom is the phantom of a visitor that was killed while passing through       Bureau some time ago. A decapitated woman is once in a while seen at a coin operated phone in Bureau making a phone call. In any case, it's a frightening phantom that you shouldn't go trying to find. The ghost of a 9 foot high enormous giant has been seen on a few instances pacing through a Bureau area cemetery. A local woman argues that this ghost is that of a person who lived here in Bureau some time ago.
