In 2000, My friends rented the last house at the end of cherry ct. They said the ghost would shut off their punk music. Also the dog would randomly bark at the wall. Also they sometimes would come home to opera radio station blasting music. They would change up the station only to have it go back to opera another day. Also, the ghost would peel up their posters off of their walls regularly. I experienced it when they threw a halloween party one year. The basement was a dirt floor with a single light bulb. I went down there to get a beer and felt something bite the back of my neck so I ran back up. Thats when I started to believe in ghosts. Someone else looked up previous residents and found that cherry ct. was a convent in the past. scary.

A woman with an axe sticking out of her head can be perceived often in Attucks Park very late at night burying a dead body by a sizeable boulder. One of the locals definitely claims that this spirit is the spirit of a traveler that was murdered while journeying through Carbondale many years ago.
The ghost of a female with a sack fastened around her head is once in a while made out trying to find a book on the shore of Carbondale Reservoir. Several of the people who live here declare this ghost enjoys terrifying unwise people who have the nerve to disrupt the calm in Carbondale. Regardless of what folks state, it's without a doubt a terrifying ghost that any wise person would not want to come across.
