Other folks in the neighborhood have had similar experiences involving the same phantom. The ghost of an awfully charred lady appeared by Black Creek reading a magazine. This ghost is fantastically active in this area; there have been a few other reports of this specific ghost. The ghost of an engine driver was witnessed walking a Saint Bernard on a dark night on a dark Cottage Hills street. This is one of those ghosts that is noticed often in the neighborhood. The spirit of a critically mangled hunter pulling a dead moose emerged at Alton Twin Lakes South Dam very late at night taking pleasure in the view. The ghost was unconcerned that there was somebody other near. Residents who have distinguished this phantom argue this phantom can be the soul of a local who passed away here in Cottage Hills long ago.
