Crystal Lake, Illinois Ghost Tales I live in Crystal Lake and none of these have ever been heard by me. But there is one that isn't mentioned here. It's about the Dole Mansion on Dole Rd. by Main Beach. When i was little i just ignored it. But i went up there one time on a tour with my mom's friend from the library. We went by the servants quarters and that was small and creepy enough. On the second floor the rooms are huge. we had the lights on and the lady went up twards the atic to see if the lights would go on so we could see that. But when she tried they didnt work. After she walked away from the switch the lights on the entire floor went out. i was really scared and clung to my brother's side. we left then. It is also said that a daughter was killed in that house and her spirit stays there and on Halloween at midnight you can see her in the atic window where she is burried. Lights will turn on that weren't turned on before and water will running in a bathroom that hasn't had water running to it for years. Almost all teachers and students have seen at least one thing during the day and have gotten almost used to it.
