You May be a skeptic but this really happened! When my husband and I lived in Dunfermline we often saw 3 figures a female and 2 males in our backyard dressed in Early 1900's clothing. For some time we didn't Tell the other one what we had been seeing then one night we were lying in bed and both heard whistling in the house.
It all came out that we had seen the same things. We often heard talking singing and whistling.

The House was new but built on the site of another House that was torn down years before. We were told before any homes were there the Railroad
|
ran through the yard and people would jump on and pull coal off the train cars and steal it.
We did find there was a deep hole filled with coal in the yard in the area where we had seen the figures walking around.
