Spook road on 1950th road in between Harding and Earlville there is a bridge where one night a man and his wife were on there way home in their carriage and when they went to go over the bridge and it was flooded and the current of the Indian creek swept them away and they drowned.
It was the night of their wedding anniversary also know as hallows eve. They also say you can see a lantern light from the carriage. Another story is that it is where the Indian creek massacre took place and you can hear screaming and drums outside and also gunshots.
Also people say that your car loses control and spins out and if you stop your car on the bridge and turn it off it won't start up until after midnight. Directions: take rt. 23 south off of rt 34. By Leland.|
Turn left onto 40th road. And another left on the street right after 1925th road.
