Custom Search Fort Sheridan, Illinois Ghost Sightings   I usd to live in Highland Park IL. On lauretta st. Right next to ft. Sheridan. My Sisters and I used to play in the ft. As kids with our friends... We would ride our bikes around the ft. At night sometimes. The Story we used to hear as kids was the lady who died I the ft. Sheridan tower. She was said to have climbed the long stair case and the higher she went the hotter it got... They say she eventually died and stll climbs the     staircase to this day. Well one night I got up to stand next to the air conditioner and when I turned around I saw a little boy ghost wearing a white t-shirt and was looking down. I immediately bolted to my bed. Very scary. This IS TRUE.
