At night, when you walk past the two story Spencer's antique shop, only one light glows in the upper right side window. Some friends, parents, and I have seen this every night for the past week. As we watched, something constantly flickered past the window and a human form walks in front. This happens repeatedly, even though the building is empty. As you stand there you feel as though you're being watched. We all think

something lives in this building, one of the oldest in the town.

bizarre involving Gardner, Illinois, but this city has terrifying secrets masked in the shadows. Dark hour is living dead time around here. Folks who have never stayed for a few days in this city will let you know it's all just superstition, but terrifying things undeniably happen here in Gardner at night.
