I lived in a house on Center Street, and the place was haunted. It had a bad vibe, and it destroyed my family. After we had left the place, I called the owners of the property and asked them if they had ever heard of the place being haunted. They denied it.

Geneseo, Illinois seems like any other zone in the United States of America, but not everyone of the dwellers of this municipality are quite alive. The undeceased are crawling over this town as the residents will tell you about. Not everybody has faith in the accounts the residents tell, but if you have the guts to stay an extra day in Geneseo, you might perceive a ghost for yourself.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of a gentleman clothed as a car mechanic was spotted walking a Poodle after midnight on a gloomy Geneseo street. Further stories of this ghost have been conveyed.

burying a cadaver by a big rock in G E Holting Park late in the night.
A lady with a sword sticking out of her head may regularly be observed staring by Elks Branch. A local person claims that this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while journeying through Geneseo before the present. Either way, it's a frightening ghost that any wise person would not want to encounter.
A knight's armor from the middle ages without a person inside may be seen repeatedly on the shore of Shadow Lake trying to articulate something.
A somewhat see-through guy clothed as the skipper of a craft has from time to time been noticed trying to grab something at Swint Lake Dam at the stroke of midnight.
A big scary ghost is now and then noticed flickering a lamp up on the top of Indian Hill. Several of the folks who live in this town argue this ghost is that of a local who had a house here in Geneseo many years ago. In any event, it is in all certainty a scary ghost that you shouldn't go trying to find.
