You may very well believe that Hopedale, Illinois is precisely like any other settlement in the United States of America, but this place has its fair percentage of phantoms. Some of the dead refuse to rest in peace in this town. Several residents claim there are no ghosts, but everybody who inhabits in Hopedale is not alive.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The ghost of an airline pilot has regularly been noticed digging a crack in the earth in Klemm Memorial Woods at the stroke of midnight. Anyhow, it is unquestionably a bloodcurdling ghost that any sensible person wouldn't wish to meet.
The ghost of a brawny lumberjack hauling a sizeable axe is repeatedly distinguished in a trailer in close proximity to Hopedale.

The frightening spirit of a Hun is known to have been made out on a handful of instances very late at night floating along on Indian Creek. Regardless of what, this is a nasty spirit that is better not messed with.
