built over 100,years ago, the floor door was originally the outside basement entrance. When the room was built the door was made flat with the

floor and carpeted over ,and that is how we got to the basement were the washer and dryer and storage were kept . Well that night we thought our dog must have gotten down there with the cat ,and the dog must have pushed it up and the cat ran out. This door was very heavy for a grown man to lift took all of the strength to pull up, so when the cat ran out ,I said look the dog pushed up the door ,and as I walked over to the
