The House is at the end (beginning) of Lincoln st (i cannot remember the name of the other Street it intersects with-maybe state? Been a long time ago) we used to walk to Lincoln school (think that was the name of it) anyway there were Many nights I could not sleep because I would hear things. I would hear a clock ticking like a pocket watch none of us     had a pocket watch or even a clock that you could hear the ticking on. I would hear people out on the balcony I would hear things in the Walls mom would Tell me it was the House settling we slept upstairs and there were a couple of steps that would squeak when you stepped on them. In the middle of the night I could hear someone walking up the stairs and the squeaking ones everyone would be in bed. I could never see anything but I heard them.
