During the day the folks who live here in Manhattan, Illinois do their work precisely the same as anywhere other, but not all the natives of this municipality are really alive. The ghost of a female with a plastic bag tied around her head was noticed hurling chunks of concrete into the water at Jackson Branch in the early morning hours. The spirit did not mind that there was somebody other nearby. A resident alleges that this phantom may be a renowned former time local of Manhattan. Regardless of what, this is an unfriendly ghost that is preferably not upset.
A moderately transparent guy dressed as the captain of a boat was observed in a building in Manhattan. When the observer materialized the spirit ran off.
The ghost of a young-looking man dressed in a confederate uniform has frequently been perceived shifting orbs around in Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor right by the ranger station. No matter what people utter, it's a chilling ghost that you wouldn't wish to meet very late at night.
