During the daylight hours you could imagine Maroa, Illinois is precisely equal to any other municipality, but there are weird things going down in this municipality in the moonlight hours. The phantoms of this city don’t leave anyone unalarmed. A headless female materialized by Little Galilee Lake Dam at midnight gazing at the water. The eye witness panicked and ran away.

The ghost of a teen girl was perceived hurling boulders into Weldon Springs Lake late in the night. The ghost did not seem to be scared by the witnesses.

The ghost of a female having half her head lost was noticed in Weldon Springs State Park at midnight looking. When the spirit was witnessed it vanished into the thin air.

A body with a skeleton face wearing shady robes is regularly made out
 
    floating down Coon Creek late at night.

A drifting ghost is rumored to have been distinguished on several instances by a guy camping at a campground outside Maroa.
