But when you step into the wooded trails inside Starved Rock State Park by yourself it's a very different experience. From the brutal murders that took place just several yards below the main trail to the specters of Indian torture which overshadow the serenity of this Illinois showplace one is dreadfully reminded that he or she is alone vulnerable wanting out of nowhere to turn and run to the safety of a waiting vehicle..

more than one occasion and it is a very unsettling feeling.. Birds stop singing, suddenly the forest becomes alive with something sinister watching, stalking,

letting you know that you are not wanted there. That staying there would most certainly become your demise..
So you turn and leave reaching your vehicle just as the birds begin to sing again and the forest once again breaths a sigh of relief.

I too have met this woman at Sam's in 2009, she asked me for lift to Seneca down route 6 before we hit town she said here is fine. I let her out on the side of the road I turned my car around in the trailer court by fat daddy's and noticed she was not there any more.
