The ghost of a lady having the sign of the devil engraved into her back was noticed soaring across the Dogtown Hills at night. Further folks in close proximity have   had matching occurrences with a very similar ghost. A resident alleges that this spirit is the stressed spirit of a former Maunie person who lived here. In any case, this is an intimidating ghost that is rather not disturbed. The ghost of a woman with a knife in her chest showed up in Camp Pahoka in the early morning hours before sunrise frightening people. This is one of those ghosts that is observed frequently in the vicinity.
