I used to live on S. Henderson Street in Mt. Zion for a very short period of time. Our small white house was haunted. My husband was home alone one day fixing the garage, and he said he felt someone tap his shoulder, and when he turned no one was there.
My husband is someone who doesn't believe in any paranormal happening, but he could find any other logical explanation for that tap on his shoulder. Our son who was 16 at the time said he saw someone

in the kitchen by the sink.
He thought that someone was his father, but when he approach that entity just disappeared. That incident made him a believer.

I have seen a dark shadow many times while home alone. I just ignored it because it didn't actually physically hurt us.
It looked like the ghost just wanted our attention or wanted us to acknowledge it's existence. We moved out when the lease was up. After that we have never experienced anything like that again.
