I guess back when that senior community center was founded. A little girl was at her grandma's birthday party and ventured a little too closely to the water. She fell in and drowned. Like I said, I know Mundelein like the back of my hand, and I know my Mundelein. You don't have to believe it, but my dad swears by it. Let me tell you folks, Mundelein is a rich community, and my family has money. Nonetheless I know my Mundelein, and it has ghosts too.

Mundelein looks like a picture on a postcard, but it's got ghosts too. Submitted by Mundeleinian

The Holcomb house for which Holcomb Dr. was named was burned down by the Mundelein fire dept. because it was haunted. I have color 16mm home movies taken by my dad round 1959 of the fire. Don't believe it was haunted? Just ask anyone who lived in the Holcomb subdivision back then. Submitted by Burninvernon

My parents have had quite a few encounters themselves. Once when my mom was driving in an old car of hers it was close to 12:00. When she looked in the mirror in the car she saw a man. Definitely dead.
