Custom Search Nilwood, Illinois Ghost Sightings Nilwood PAGE 1   2     I am pretty sure that Nilwood church has a few ghosts running around in it. The ladies like to speak to you. You Only hear them. However I get the distinct impression and I am not sure what to make of this that there are two gentlemen that walk the hallway in the Sunday school building. They do not speak. They do not walk together. One gentlemen looks like he just came in from the field from plowing because of the type of clothing     he is wearing. He appears to be from the last 1800's to the turn of the century. The other gentlemen I see appears to be from the 50's or Early 60's. He is wearing dark slacks brown loafers and a brown tweed jacket. There is a pipe in his left jacket pocket. He has a hat on. Neither of them speak but they are there. It is as if they are watching over the building. They always seem to be looking around as they walk. Sometimes I sense something in the church but never see it. I know something is in there.
