Lots of spirit stories have been passed on by the people who live here. Folks who have never spent a night in this town will say to you it's all myths, but a stop in Oswego, Illinois will make anybody believe. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. A female with her head and right arm and left leg removed is often observed resting in a beanbag in a flat in Oswego. The ghost of a man holding a blood-covered axe is known to have been seen on many instances holding a headbone amid the plants of Aux Sable Grove.
