When I was little Grandma & Grandpa told me stories of a man that died there shortly after he came home from the war (WWI or II I'm not sure). They said that he haunted the place because he died to soon. We often heard footsteps in the hall, doors slammed so often that my grandma had them removed from all the bedrooms. Whether that is     true or not I don't know. But I do know that after my grandfather died in late '77,he became a presence in the home.From the time I was a kid till grammy died in 2006, I would go stay there when ever I was upset or sad because my grandpa would always come to me at night and kiss my cheek and whisper that everything was going to be alright.
