We all got up accusing each other of playing with the piano but that still doesn't explain the deafening volume of the piano waking us all up. Frightened we all decided to go back to sleep in the same room.
As soon as we settled in to go to sleep the piano played those same five or six notes back down the scale. We didn't sleep much that night or many other nights for that matter.
