I have been unable to confirm the story of the murder or the year in which it occurred. There was a sign back in the woods that had been posted by an Al Hanson.

Comment by Mike: The woman murdered was a widow. She was murdered by a local teen who was trying to rob her. Al was her son who developed the property. He died from skin cancer several years ago. The house was a small 4 room home.
Al lived in Noridge with a wife and two daughters. His wife preceded him in death.
Comment by Anonomous: If you're talking about the house and property off Rollins that's in Ingleside and used to be titled Utopia. I was a firefighter / paramedic, and we did have a murder in that house that was a grandmother killed by her grandson for her money which she kept in the house. (He didn't get it though. We knew from taking her to the hospital so often and her asking us to get it for her, so she could bring it with her.) We got it and gave it to the Lake County sheriff who responded to the murder.

Comment by Bill: Al Hanson was a dear friend of mine. I rented the home from him for several years. If you felt a presence it had to be Al. Happy to share more offline.

We would always sleep over at my dads house on the weekends. This house was a very old house. But it was very paranormal too. I wondered something about the house because we had an upstairs that no one used.
